Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician, with expertise in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or HVAC.
• Proven ability to mentor and train junior technicians, providing guidance and support for development.
• Strong technical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools, diagnostic instruments, and maintenance software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey technical information effectively.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and best practices in maintenance operations.
• Commitment to fostering learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and Repair: perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems; diagnose complex malfunctions and implement solutions.
• Mentorship and Training: guide Maintenance Technician 1, develop technical skills, and lead on-the-job training sessions.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: coordinate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks and shared workload.
• Documentation and Compliance: maintain accurate records, logs and inspection reports to meet regulatory standards and company policies.
