Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a large, clean production environment in Otay Mesa, San Diego. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain manufacturing machinery and facility equipment, reading blueprints and schematics, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting Lean and Kaizen initiatives.

The role requires 8+ years of manufacturing experience, 5+ years in maintenance, forklift and lockout/tagout certifications, CMMS proficiency, and strong teamwork. Schedule 6:00 a.m.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a large, open manufacturing setting with multiple departments.
• Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous-improvement familiarity.

Mansioni

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control problems on manufacturing machinery and facility equipment.
• Inspect machinery and equipment to identify causes of failure and determine corrective actions.
• Disassemble, clean, troubleshoot, rebuild, and repair mechanical equipment to restore operation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, sketches, and schematics to plan maintenance tasks.
• Test equipment using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other gauges to evaluate performance.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in Lean/Kaizen activities to improve reliability.
