Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for Otay Mesa, CA. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating with vendors, managing MRO supplies, and ensuring safety compliance. The position may require overtime and weekend work to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and electronic work order systems.
• Forklift operating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and facility-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment documentation.
• Complete general facility maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, drywall, painting, and building repairs.
• Manage MRO inventory and cleaning supplies.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and obtain quotes for facility projects and repairs.
