Job summary

AOC Metal Works is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment and facility systems at the Chester site. You will handle complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls issues, support preventive maintenance, and mentor junior technicians.

You will work with Production and the Maintenance Manager to restore equipment safely, reduce downtime, and improve reliability, with responsibilities that include installing,

Qualifications

• Hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, machine drawings, manuals, and fault information.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and CMMS.
• Strong troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment including laser cutting systems and automation.
• Diagnose and fix electrical/control faults using schematics, meters, and PLC I/O.
• Service mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems; perform maintenance tasks.
• Document preventive and predictive maintenance and update maintenance system records.
• Coordinate repairs with Production and other departments to minimize downtime.
