Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician to keep the facility running and repair system problems promptly. The role covers pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and conveyor systems, with leadership duties mentoring junior technicians and upholding safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on maintenance expertise in distribution or manufacturing settings, familiarity with CMMS, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks at height and lift requirements.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of maintenance experience in a facility, distribution or manufacturing environment, or an Associate degree with 1+ year maintenance experience.
• Experience with industrial electricity (single/three-phase power), motors, protective devices and/or photo sensors.
• Experience with electronics including PLCs, remote I/O modules, servo drives, VFDs and scanning systems.
• Willing to climb to 100 feet for repairs and lift up to 50 lbs; includes bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching and walking.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance tasks and complex repairs on DC equipment.
• Uses CMMS to document and maintain distribution machinery per manufacturer recommendations.
• Mentors and develops Maintenance Technicians under management guidance.
• Maintains a safe work environment by addressing potential safety issues with material-handling equipment.
