Job summary

Edgewood Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Tech III for our Toms River, NJ community.

The role involves performing maintenance tasks across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and building envelope systems, with duties across Gabrielle Run and The Pointe at Neptune as needed. You will supervise maintenance staff in the absence of a Manager/Supervisor, ensure vacant units are rent-ready, and respond to resident requests while maintaining safety and operating

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• Real Page or similar program experience required (5 years).
• Broad maintenance skill set across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance staff when Manager/Supervisor is not on site.
• Perform HVAC maintenance/diagnosis/repair for residential/commercial systems.
• Maintain plumbing fixtures, water heaters, and supply lines; repair/replacement as needed.
• Electrical: diagnose/repair/replace fixtures, wiring, and low voltage systems.
• Carpentry, drywall, painting, and building envelope work.
• Ensure vacant apartments are rent-ready; perform turnkey work when required.
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily to identify maintenance needs.
• Respond to resident requests and maintain customer service standards.
