Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Tech III for the Back Half 2nd Shift (Tue-Sat, 3:00pm–11:30pm) to keep facilities and equipment in top working order. The role emphasizes mechanical and electrical maintenance on manufacturing and packing equipment, plus preventive maintenance and thorough documentation.

Ideal candidates bring at least 3 years of multi-craft technician experience and strong knowledge of PLCs, CMMS, and conveyor systems. Proficiency with MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a multi-craft technician.
• Electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical systems knowledge including lighting, power distribution, drives and motors.
• Ability to read simple electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Ensure all facilities and equipment are properly maintained and in good, safe working order.
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on equipment and electrical panels.
• Perform preventive maintenance in a timely manner.
• Maintain documentation of preventive maintenance, repairs and parts usage.
• Handle and maintain spare parts inventory.
• Ensure equipment starts properly at shift start.
• Maintain and repair machines, electronics, conveyors and warehouse facilities.
• Locate sources of problems by observing and listening to equipment; diagnose and fix as needed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems (mechanical and electrical).
