Job summary

TOTO USA, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to install, repair, and maintain complex production machinery and building facilities. The role emphasizes advanced electronics, instrumentation, and precision parts work to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting and will mentor Technician I staff while adhering to safety and ISO/quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma from a two-year technical school in electronics, instrumentation, metalsmithing, machining, or related field.
• Five+ years in industrial maintenance roles (electrician, electronics, instrumentation, machinist, metalsmith).
• Work in a production/manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery, noise, and confined spaces.
• May use ladders, scaffolds, forklifts, manlifts, and other safety equipment as required.
• Travel: none anticipated; occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced maintenance and installation on complex systems beyond Technician I, including electronics or precision parts.
• Installs, repairs, overhauls, and maintains production machinery and facilities to minimize downtime.
• Uses routine and specialized maintenance tools and equipment as required.
• Tracks repairs and orders parts, documenting receipt as requested.
• Provides technical guidance and training to Technician I employees as needed.
• Keeps work area clean and follows safety rules and ISO/Quality requirements.
• Maintains documentation and procedures per ISO Environmental and Quality systems.
