Job summary

MAT Friction in Dallas, TX is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift (3:00 pm–1:30 am, Mon–Thu) with overtime opportunities.

You will maintain and repair production equipment, lead improvement projects, and ensure safety and efficiency in a fast-paced brake parts facility. Applicants should have 6+ years of maintenance experience, strong electrical and mechanical skills, and the ability to train others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, some college preferred.
• 6+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in electrical, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Repair machinery to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Identify repair needs before breakdowns occur.
• Lead troubleshooting with guidance to other staff.
• Evaluate repair vs replacement to cut costs.
• Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe condition.
• Perform preventive maintenance and support projects.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, and Production.
