Job summary

Lindt & Sprüngli is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Supervisor in California to direct and coordinate the Maintenance Department, delivering world-class equipment reliability and strong process improvement.

This role focuses on leading a team, budgeting, and ensuring safe operations across the plant. Key duties include coaching staff, driving preventive maintenance, and collaborating with operations to meet production goals while maintaining high safety and quality standards in a food production

Qualifications

• BS/AE degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of related maintenance experience; 10 years without degree.
• Strong foundations in maintenance philosophy and reliability engineering.
• Experience with large factory maintenance budgets.
• Food or pharmaceutical background preferred; chocolate experience desired.
• EHSS knowledge for a food production plant.
• Able to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the Maintenance Department to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Lead safety initiatives and foster an inclusive, safe work environment.
• Coach and develop the maintenance team; provide ongoing training.
• Manage the maintenance budget and spare parts inventory.
• Support operations to meet production goals by increasing machinery efficiency.
• Drive PM program and overall maintenance improvements.
