Job summary

Weinstein Properties is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant Supervisor to join our Cary, NC team. You will assist in managing a service crew, oversee routine repairs and preventive maintenance, and ensure property grounds and buildings meet high standards.

Responsibilities include scheduling work, supervising in-house and vendor tasks, and sharing on-call duties. A background in apartment maintenance with supervisory experience is required, with strong customer service focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in trade-related work with 2 years in supervision.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance and safety.
• EPA/CFC refrigerant certification (Type I/II or Universal).
• HVAC repair experience required.
• Valid driver's license and transportation.
• Willing to share on-call duties.
• Background check and DMV check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and coordinating service team activities.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work.
• Share on-call duties with the team.
• Maintain high occupancy and resident satisfaction through proactive maintenance.
• Promote from within and provide training opportunities.
