Job summary

Pompeian HQ in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate a maintenance staff responsible for production equipment and related systems, drive root cause analysis, and ensure safe, quality operations.

The role reports to the Maintenance Manager; requires 5+ years in supervisory maintenance in a CPG environment, HS diploma (trade or higher preferred), strong leadership and trouble-shooting skills; weekends/on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Trade School or higher preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in a supervisory/management role with multi-line production experience (food manufacturing, chemical or pharmaceutical).
• Minimum 5 years in maintenance in a CPG manufacturing environment.
• Working mechanical knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
• Working knowledge of computer systems and basic software applications.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills; ability to mentor and lead a team of maintenance technicians.
• Good organizational and team skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Keen eye for quality details; ability to troubleshoot and develop solutions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules and work orders.
• Oversee maintenance team in restoration, repair, rebuilding, troubleshooting, or replacement of equipment.
• Direct and coordinate maintenance schedule, needs, and assignments of maintenance staff to ensure safe, high-quality production.
• Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment; primary contact for 8 maintenance staff.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, worker safety, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Operations & Production Managers to manage department workflow.
