Job summary

Liberty Military Housing is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor II to oversee maintenance operations for a multi-family military community. You will supervise Service Technicians, Groundskeepers and Housekeeping staff, lead safety practices, and ensure repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and grounds meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include scheduling work, hiring and training staff, coordinating with vendors, managing the department budget, and conducting safety inspections.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related maintenance experience.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role (property management preferred).
• HVAC and EPA certifications preferred.
• Proficient in basic trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and appliance repair.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff in daily activities (maintenance, installations, repairs, turns).
• Hire, train and develop employees and ensure safety practices are followed.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for work and manage budgets.
• Prepare specifications for major projects and solicit bids from contractors.
• Purchase maintenance supplies efficiently and maintain inventory.
• Ensure requests and make-readies meet LMH standards and safety guidelines.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce OSHA regulations.
• Travel to regional locations as needed; operate vehicle for work.
