Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations on the West/East (delete accordingly) Coast of North America. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance staff, ensuring the efficient operation of all maintenance activities, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure all maintenance activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.
2. Develop and implement maintenance plans, schedules, and procedures to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
3. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment, machinery, and systems according to established schedules.
4. Perform repairs on faulty equipment or systems to restore functionality.
5. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues and identify the root cause of problems.
6. Conduct thorough inspections of equipment, machinery, and facilities to assess their condition and functionality.
7. Ensure that maintenance processes and activities meet specified standards, regulations, and best practices.
8. Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
9. Order parts and materials as needed for repairs and maintenance activities.
10. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including logs, reports, and documentation.
11. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance and repair tasks.
12. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
13. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members about maintenance needs and issues.

Minimum Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
3. Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
4. Proven experience in maintenance and repair work, preferably in a similar role.
5. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
6. Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in maintenance and repair work.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
8. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
9. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
10. Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
