Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations on the West/East (delete accordingly) Coast of North America. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance staff, ensuring the efficient operation of all maintenance activities, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure all maintenance activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans, schedules, and procedures to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment, machinery, and systems according to established schedules.
- Perform repairs on faulty equipment or systems to restore functionality.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues and identify the root cause of problems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment, machinery, and facilities to assess their condition and functionality.
- Ensure that maintenance processes and activities meet specified standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Order parts and materials as needed for repairs and maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including logs, reports, and documentation.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance and repair tasks.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members about maintenance needs and issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Proven experience in maintenance and repair work, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in maintenance and repair work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
