Job summary

Carus is seeking a Maintenance and Reliability Manager to lead maintenance, reliability, and stores across a world-class chemical plant in Illinois. You will drive safety, environmental excellence, and cost-efficient operations while mentoring a diverse team of craftsmen, planners, and reliability engineers.

You will develop strategies to improve equipment performance, collaborate on capital projects, and guide budgets and contractor performance to deliver sustainable value for the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering required.
• 7–10 years of chemical plant experience, or 10+ years in plant maintenance with reliability programs.
• Strong leadership and continuous improvement background in chemical plants.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance, reliability, and stores teams across the plant.
• Develop and execute strategies for execution, cost efficiencies, and operational excellence.
• Own reliability strategies including predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
