Job summary

Atrium is seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance in a high-volume, 24/7 manufacturing setting. You will lead maintenance staff, drive reliability improvements, manage budgets, and partner with production to align maintenance with operations.

The role emphasizes strong technical leadership, safety-first culture, and continuous improvement initiatives to support production objectives.

Qualifications

10+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
5+ years of leadership experience managing maintenance teams.
Strong knowledge of equipment reliability programs and maintenance best practices.
Experience using CMMS systems.
Demonstrated success implementing continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience conducting failure analysis and corrective actions.
Working knowledge of safety programs and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Experience managing capital projects from planning through execution.
Knowledge of maintenance repair procedures, installation standards, codes, and specifications.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel while fostering a strong safety-first culture.
Direct all maintenance activities supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation, including production equipment, utilities, facilities, and infrastructure.
Establish and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Collaborate closely with Production leadership to prioritize maintenance activities and support operational goals.
Manage maintenance planning and scheduling processes to ensure timely completion of work orders.
Monitor and optimize maintenance budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
Develop training, safety, and employee development programs to enhance workforce capabilities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
Lead root cause investigations related to equipment failures and operational issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Track maintenance metrics and KPIs to drive performance improvements.
Oversee facility utilities, infrastructure systems, and related support services.
Partner with HR and leadership on hiring, performance management, succession planning, and employee relations.
Support labor relations initiatives and maintain positive working relationships across all levels.
