Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Sr. Engineer, Maintenance Reliability to join our Engineering team in a world-class manufacturing setting.

You will lead reliability-centered maintenance strategies, optimize preventive and predictive programs, and drive capital and automation projects that enhance equipment uptime and product quality. You will mentor engineers and technicians, collaborate across Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality, and Validation, and ensure compliance with FDA QSR and

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
3–5 years in manufacturing engineering, automation, maintenance engineering, or related industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation systems, equipment validation, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience developing and managing project budgets, capital expenditures, and resource planning.
Proficiency with engineering and business software applications, including Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with CAD software and engineering analysis tools.
Project Management certification (PMP) or equivalent leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering support to manufacturing operations to meet production schedules with quality, compliance, and cost objectives.
Lead and coordinate manufacturing automation projects, ensuring compliance with standards and site objectives.
Apply engineering principles to improve manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and product quality.
Develop and review URS and other engineering documentation.
Coordinate preventive maintenance strategies and oversee maintenance personnel.
