Job summary

Baxter Healthcare is seeking a Sr. Engineer, Maintenance Reliability in a world‑class manufacturing environment in Puerto Rico.

You will enhance equipment uptime, lead reliability projects, and mentor engineers and technicians across maintenance, automation, and quality teams. You will drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs, partner with cross‑functional stakeholders, and ensure compliance with FDA quality systems and cGMP requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing).
• 3–5 years in manufacturing/automation/maintenance engineering.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and automation systems.
• Experience with budgeting and project planning.
• FDA/cGMP knowledge and software validation experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to meet production schedules and quality targets.
• Lead manufacturing automation projects with compliance to standards.
• Improve processes, equipment performance and product quality.
• Apply FMEA, DOE, SPC, and process modeling to resolve challenges.
• Develop and manage capital budgets for projects.
• Lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate resources.
