Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Manager, Maintenance, Reliability & Automation in Lubbock, TX to lead a world‑class reliability organization. You will drive proactive maintenance, implement TPM, and champion connected factory technologies while collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain.

The role centers on developing maintenance talent, shaping capital strategies, and advancing digital maintenance capabilities across a highly automated manufacturing footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, Maintenance Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing maintenance leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading maintenance organizations within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience implementing TPM, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance systems.
• Proven success developing maintenance teams and technical talent.
• Strong experience with root cause analysis, reliability improvement, and structured problem solving.
• Experience managing capital projects, budgets, and external service providers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a reliability-centered maintenance strategy to improve uptime, equipment performance, and throughput.
• Transform the maintenance organization from reactive to proactive, data-driven reliability.
• Lead TPM deployment across manufacturing operations and establish asset criticality models and preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
• Drive improvements in MTBF, MTTR, maintenance cost, and overall OEE.
• Lead the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies and connected factory initiatives.
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to support automation initiatives and capital investment plans.
• Build a high-performing maintenance organization through coaching and workforce development.
