Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Maintenance Project Manager to lead the maintenance, modification, repair and testing of mechanical and electrical equipment, directing work plans and procedures across our industrial sites.

This on-site role requires NCCER Boilermaker certification (Supervisor preferred) and a minimum of eight years in maintenance, with strong leadership, safety compliance, and ability to manage multiple work orders and contractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight (8) years of cumulative experience.
• Education: Certification/License: NCCER Boilermaker required; NCCER Supervisor is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compile and submit technical work and breakdown reports; undertake quality audits of completed work and work in progress.
• Prepare maintenance field instructions and procedures; check that all relevant documents describe the work to be carried out.
• Control and endorse work permits for scheduled work; assist in planning and coordinating work orders.
• Lead and implement safety and training programs to comply with SOPs, SMPs, inspections and trainings.
• Direct emergency repairs to systems, equipment, and components.
• Coordinate during pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Demonstrate inspection and testing of equipment and components to complete work packages and ensure systems are returned to normal operation.
