Job summary

Austin Industries is seeking a seasoned Superintendent/Project Coordinator to lead maintenance operations on complex projects in Houston. You will manage cost and schedule, supervise field crews, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contract requirements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in maintenance leadership, CMRT certification, and strong communication skills to coordinate with customers and subcontractors. This is a full-time on-site role with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a Superintendent or Project Coordinator role in maintenance operations.
• Experience in managing nested small cap reimbursable operations preferred.
• General competency in maintenance operations and related planning, scheduling, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Know the prime contract and ensure reporting obligations and deliverables are identified and complied with.
• Manage site schedule, workforce planning, and resource coordination to meet execution requirements.
• Perform monthly financial reviews and drive productivity and cost performance.
• Ensure safety, quality and environmental standards are maintained on site.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Lead a team to promote safety, teamwork, and productivity.
