Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Maintenance/Millwright Senior Technician to perform advanced mechanical maintenance supporting industrial waste treatment systems, facility utilities, chemical delivery systems, and related equipment.

This role operates with minimal supervision and serves as a subject matter expert responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance strategy, system reliability, process improvement, and technical leadership.

Qualifications

Experience with maintenance of industrial waste treatment systems.
Expert understanding of equipment and processes.
Ability to mentor and train technicians.
Strong commitment to safety guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues across facilities utilities and equipment.
Perform preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance to maximize uptime.
Use root cause analysis to identify permanent solutions for recurrent failures.
Provide technical support during commissioning and start-up of new instrumentation equipment.
Coordinate with other departments on maintenance scheduling and communication.
Identify opportunities for business process improvement and implement changes.
Interpret schematics, diagrams, and written instructions to complete tasks.
