Job summary

Catalent is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Planner to join our Harmans, MD site. You will schedule resources, parts and access for GMP equipment, maintain compliance with cGMP, and work with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment on-site from Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm. Onsite facilities and a focus on reliability support growth and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years maintenance planning experience.
• Basic understanding of root cause analysis and asset management.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and OEM documentation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; MS Office proficient.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule equipment maintenance, downtime, shutdowns and validation activities.
• Prioritize work orders based on criticality, downtime risk, and business needs.
• Develop maintenance schedules and work orders for GMP equipment.
• Use CMMS to create, assign, track and close work orders and maintain asset records.
• Coordinate with technicians, engineers, vendors, and contractors for maintenance work.
• Provide maintenance updates to manufacturing, quality, engineering, and facilities teams.
• Lead or participate in daily huddles, handoffs, and cross-functional planning.
• Maintain maintenance records and GMP-related data for regulatory inspections.
• Analyze maintenance data to support KPI reporting and continuous improvement.
• Provide CMMS training and promote standardized maintenance practices.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and GMP requirements; occasional off-shift or holiday work.
