Job summary
Custom Building Products, LLC in Lithia Springs, GA is hiring an experienced Maintenance Mechanic. This full-time role runs Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 PM with a $1/hour shift premium and an additional $1/hour after 90 days.
Candidates should have at least five years of industrial maintenance experience and a strong ability to maximize uptime on manufacturing equipment. You will collaborate with Production, Shipping, and other departments, performing preventive maintenance and handling
Qualifications
- Safety-minded with thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and safety practices.
- Ability to understand technical service manuals and maintain basic records for repair work.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain plant process machinery including mixers, packers, motors, conveyors, and related systems.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and resolve issues.
- Operate light mobile equipment (forklifts, welders, man-lifts, skid loaders).
- Provide breakdown reports, track parts usage, and read electrical/mechanical diagrams.
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance per schedule.
- Assist with plumbing, carpentry, and general facility maintenance.
