Job summary

Erickson Senior Living at Maris Grove in Glen Mills, PA, is seeking a Senior Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair apartments and public areas, train staff, and oversee neighborhood conditions to ensure resident comfort and safety.

The role requires 5+ years in residential/construction maintenance, HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge, EPA refrigerant certification, and willingness to work on-call overtime; starts at $29 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a residential apartment complex, construction, or commercial building maintenance.
• Must possess a working knowledge of residential building maintenance to include plumbing, electrical, flooring, and appliances; should have HVAC knowledge.
• Will be expected to work a reasonable amount of scheduled and on-call overtime as necessary.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess current EPA certification to handle refrigerants.

Responsibilities

• Perform necessary maintenance of HVAC equipment as assigned.
• Perform all necessary scheduled preventive maintenance procedures on designated equipment while following manufacturer’s recommendation.
• Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure.
• Serve as the lead mechanic in assigned area(s) and will be responsible for the overall condition of the neighborhood(s).
