Job summary

Purple is seeking a Maintenance Technician in McDonough, Georgia to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in a 7pm-7:30am night shift. This role supports safety and efficiency by performing preventive maintenance and quick repairs to keep the plant running and meet business goals.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 5–10 years of maintenance experience, with hands-on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic skills, and the ability to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of maintenance experience.
• Reasoning ability to follow detailed instructions and solve problems.
• Mathematics skills including basic arithmetic and unit conversions.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and work orders.
• Knowledge of warehousing tools and hazardous materials handling.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant facilities.
• Provide emergency/unplanned repairs during production and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Read equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, and test repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.
