Shea Properties seeks a Senior Service Manager to lead the maintenance operations at our apartment community. You will supervise maintenance staff, manage budgets, and execute preventive maintenance and capital projects in alignment with Shea standards.

You will recruit, train, and develop the service team, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to city, state, and federal codes. On-site, with regular weekend availability and 10–25% travel, you’ll drive efficiency and cost control.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 3 years property management experience at the manager/supervisory level with a proven track record of building and leading teams.
• High school diploma or equivalent with specialized courses in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Ability to perform advanced maintenance tasks including painting, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, emergency/security systems, and pool maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all aspects of maintenance operations at the community including supervision of maintenance staff and budget management.
• Lead staff recruitment, hiring, and training in partnership with the Sr. Community Manager or General Manager.
• Schedule and inspect vendor/contractor work to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Prepare annual performance reviews and development plans for associates.
• Manage annual maintenance budget and assist in capital improvements and bidding processes.
• Conduct regular property inspections and safety meetings; respond to maintenance requests and emergencies.
