Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. is seeking aMaintenance Supervisor in Garner, NC to lead the Facilities Maintenance team and uphold preventive maintenance standards.

You will review maintenance data, assign work orders, and monitor safety and compliance across plants and contractors. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3+ years supervising maintenance in a manufacturing setting, and strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and CAD/SAP tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and experience required.
• Fundamental knowledge of preventive maintenance, vibration analysis, oil analysis, and engineering principles.
• Knowledge of maintenance requirements of HVAC, buildings, and plant electrical systems.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in maintenance/manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and modifies preventative maintenance programs by reviewing production, quality control, maintenance reports, and statistics.
• Prepares and issues work order assignments and performs quality control on completed work.
• Supervises Facilities Maintenance Department personnel; assigns work, schedules leave, evaluates performance, provides training.
• Directs and supervises contract maintenance services for landscaping, roofing, janitorial, forklift, and pest control services.
• Schedules and prioritizes maintenance activities and coordinates with production/planning.
