Job summary

Lake Air Products is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance technicians across Twin Cities plants. You will lead preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and manage building upkeep while mentoring staff and coordinating with contractors.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in metal stamping or fabrication, 10+ years in manufacturing, and a proven ability to drive improvements and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the team
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and easily adapt to change
• Working knowledge of Preventative Maintenance Programs
• 10+ years of recent experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to network and/or research issues to quickly diagnose repair issues

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead an ongoing PM program for all Lake Air plants; track results
• Maintain facilities and grounds and manage associated contract services and repairs
• Supervise the Maintenance Technician and all maintenance activities in respective location. Partners with other Plant Maintenance Manager to coordinate activities at Plants requesting help when needed
• Manage, prioritize and resolve all requests for maintenance and repair services
• Provide technical support by training and troubleshooting to maintenance and manufacturing employees
• Interpret operational manuals, manufacturer’s specifications, blueprints and schematics for manufacturing and ancillary equipment
