Job summary

NOVO Health Services, LLC, based in St. Louis, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team for our healthcare linen facilities. The role demands deep mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic expertise and strong leadership to keep equipment and systems operating safely and efficiently.

You'll manage preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and projects, while ensuring regulatory compliance and budget discipline. Experience in large laundry environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a similar senior engineering role, preferably within the laundry or healthcare industry.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, boiler, and building maintenance systems.
• Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of relevant safety regulations and codes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to the engineering team, overseeing facility maintenance and repairs.
• Implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair complex equipment malfunctions with root cause analysis.
• Oversee engineering projects from planning to completion within budgets and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes for facility operations.
• Manage the engineering department's budget and resources.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate engineers and technicians.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and improvements.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external contractors.
