Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for an on-site role at one of our apartment communities in Dallas. You will oversee maintenance operations, mentor staff, and ensure a clean, safe living environment for residents and staff.

The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years in multifamily maintenance, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with OneSite or Yardi and MS Office. Weekend availability and a rotating on-call schedule are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• Proven leadership and staff-management skills.
• Knowledge of state lease forms, Fair Housing laws, and Property Code.
• Proficient in property management software (OneSite/Yardi) and MS Office.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Available to work 40 hours per week, including weekends; rotating on-call.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory and ensure tools are in good working condition.
• Monitor hazardous conditions and safety across the property.
• Train maintenance staff and delegate service requests.
• Schedule preventative maintenance and coordinate with vendors.
• Ensure timely resident service and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain property maintenance budget awareness and report results.
