Job summary

Solution One Industries is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee West Texas and New Mexico facilities, based in Marfa, TX. The role involves guiding a team of skilled trades, ensuring performance and compliance with ISO/AS9100 quality standards, and supporting CBP operations.

The incumbent will manage preventive maintenance plans, coordinate with CBP stakeholders, and maintain traceability of equipment while driving safety and reliability across the maintenance program.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or trade school program or apprenticeship (HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing).
• At least eight (8) years' experience performing maintenance duties for contracts of similar size and scope.
• Experience applying ISO, AS9100, or comparable quality standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. citizen and able to pass a CBP Background Investigation.
• Current valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily repair operations and guide a team of skilled trades technicians.
• Coordinate, track, and manage maintenance activities.
• Decrease equipment downtime through high-level troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain equipment traceability.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 / AS9100D quality standards and CBP requirements.
• Report maintenance status and performance to management.
• Collaborate with CBP stakeholders and program management to support mission readiness.
