Job summary

Fall River Die Cast Company is seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Manager to lead the maintenance department, drive safety, reliability, and continuous improvement across die cast operations. You will manage preventive/predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and MRO readiness, partnering with operations and engineering to support production goals.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring 10+ years in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Strong safety mindset and dedication to safety culture.
• 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Hands-on knowledge across mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic, electrical (480/120/24V) and automation systems.
• Proven track record building or improving PM programs and reducing downtime.
• Experience managing spare parts / MRO inventory (min/max, reorder points).
• Proficiency with a CMMS and with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills; able to prioritize and hold a team accountable.

Responsibilities

• Safety champion and enforce LOTO, machine guarding, and OSHA compliance.
• Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team; oversee hiring, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning.
• Build and continuously improve PM programs for die cast machines, presses, furnaces, robotics/automation, and facilities; reduce reactive work.
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Partner with Operations to prioritize daily production support and long-term improvements; provide hands-on support during major breakdowns.
• Establish and manage a well-stocked MRO inventory and vendor relationships for parts availability and urgent breakdowns.
