Job summary

Watlow in Columbia, MO is seeking a skilled Maintenance Equipment Technician II to provide skilled maintenance for machines, building, and property, ensuring safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment. You’ll troubleshoot and repair complex machinery, perform detailed preventive maintenance, fabricate and refurbish production equipment, and help keep our operations in world-class condition.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma and 2-year degree or 3–5 years experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-year technical certificate or degree in industrial maintenance, or 3–5 years relevant experience.
• Welding/fabrication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Electrical troubleshooting and motor controls repair.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install complex machinery.
• Fabricate equipment, fixtures, and shelving; welding preferred.
• Perform preventative maintenance on SMT, wave solder, and solder systems.
• Repair and install plumbing, low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain facilities and refurbish equipment to like-new condition.
