Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Redmond is seeking an experienced Tech Ops Engineer II (Maintenance Engineer) to lead preventive and corrective maintenance across automated systems, robotics, and process equipment supporting satellite manufacturing.

You will work with the Equipment Engineering & Maintenance team, provide SME guidance, develop risk assessments and dashboards, plan complex tasks, and mentor technicians to maximize uptime and reliability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with diverse mechanical/electrical systems and automation.
• Experience troubleshooting technical systems and coaching others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver with limited guidance and resolve equipment issues impacting production.
• Develop risk assessments and operational dashboards for critical equipment.
• Plan and schedule maintenance tasks across teams and vendors.
• Provide oversight for day-to-day maintenance with the Maintenance Manager.
• Create SOPs, JHAs, and procedures to improve uptime.
