Amazon Leo Satellite Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Tech Ops Engineer II (Maintenance Engineer) to lead maintenance for critical manufacturing equipment at SEA133 in Kirkland, WA. You will apply expert judgment to ensure uptime across automated systems, robotics, and SCADA-enabled controls, collaborating with vendors and internal teams.

The role emphasizes preventive and corrective maintenance, process improvement, and mentoring junior technicians in a fast-paced satellite production

Qualifications

4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Experience in mechanical or controls field or electrical theory, robotics, and automated equipment.
Experience interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.
Experience troubleshooting and problem resolution under pressure.

Responsibilities

Deliver with limited guidance; resolve site-level equipment issues affecting production.
Develop risk assessments and dashboards for critical equipment.
Plan and schedule maintenance tasks across production, engineering and vendors.
Provide oversight for day-to-day equipment maintenance with the Maintenance Manager.
Create SOPs, JHAs, and emergency procedures to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
Oversight of preventive/corrective maintenance on automated equipment; mentor technicians.
