Job summary

The City of Millville Water Department is seeking a qualified Senior Maintenance Repairer Electrician to support essential municipal water operations through electrical maintenance and repair.

Under direction, performs routine electrical work, installs, inspects, and services circuits and equipment. May lead a small maintenance unit; on-call as needed. Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of electrical work in a professional setting.
• Municipality experience preferred.
• NJ driver's license required; CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, install, and repair electrical circuits and equipment.
• Follow instructions and keep accurate records using manuals or electronic systems.
• Electrical maintenance of municipal water wells, pumping stations, and treatment facilities; supervise staff when needed.
