Agropur Cooperative is seeking an Automation Manager in Jerome, Idaho, to lead the daily operation of automated systems and electrical equipment. You will drive optimization, coach teams, and ensure safety standards are met in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering and at least five years of leadership with automation experience. A strong track record in project management and maintenance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum five years in a leadership role.
• Minimum five years with automated electrical systems.
• Manufacturing/industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong project management and leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate workers in automation of equipment, applying process knowledge.
• Drive training and coaching to ensure safety standards and incident prevention.
• Maintain equipment with maintenance team to reduce downtime.
• Perform installations and repairs on electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls.
• Collaborate with plant, corporate and client personnel to address production tasks.
• Assist with automation projects and Capex initiatives.
• Support maintenance for non-electrical repair tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair building and production equipment promptly.
• Lead automation process improvement initiatives for continuous improvement.
