Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a highly experienced Mainframe Technical Lead with deep expertise in WMA/Vantage products and Life Insurance systems to provide advanced production support and technical leadership for mission-critical applications.

The role includes designing, developing, testing, and maintaining mainframe applications, coordinating deployments, mentoring teams, and driving performance improvements across complex mainframe environments.

Qualifications

15+ years of deep expertise in WMA/Vantage products and Life Insurance systems.
Strong COBOL/JCL/DB2 knowledge on mainframe platforms.
Life Insurance domain experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced production support for mission-critical Mainframe applications.
Lead incident resolution and performance optimization for Mainframe-based applications.
Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain complex Mainframe applications while adhering to standards.
Coordinate deployments, releases, and production installations with minimal business impact.
Mentor and lead development and support teams; conduct code reviews and walkthroughs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project outcomes.
