Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a highly experienced Mainframe Technical Lead with deep expertise in WMA/Vantage products and Life Insurance systems to provide advanced production support for mission-critical applications. You will serve as a senior technical authority, driving incident resolution, performance optimization, and application enhancements across complex mainframe environments.

Beyond hands-on technical work, this role carries leadership responsibilities—mentoring teams, leading code

Qualifications

20–25 years of IT experience, with 15+ years in WMA/Vantage and Life Insurance systems.
Strong technical proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2 and related Mainframe technologies.
Life Insurance domain experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced production support and troubleshooting for mission-critical Mainframe applications and environments.
Lead technical support, incident resolution, and performance optimization for Mainframe-based applications.
Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain complex Mainframe applications while adhering to coding/quality standards.
Analyze business and technical requirements and implement enhancements for complex modules.
Support and coordinate deployments, releases, and production installations with minimal business impact.
Mentor development and support teams; conduct code reviews and walkthroughs.
