Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a senior mainframe infrastructure consultant with 10+ years of experience in z/OS and Broadcom mainframe products such as SYSVIEW, OPS/MVS, and NetMaster. The role emphasizes architectural design, technical leadership, and delivering tangible client value.

You will collaborate with account teams, run virtual or on-site engagements, and provide detailed technical guidance, proofs-of-concept, and documented recommendations to meet client goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering with 8+ years of related experience or Master's with 6+ years.
• Extensive experience with Broadcom Software mainframe products or similar.
• Strong REXX/HLASM coding skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user and data requirements and provide related solution modeling and implementation.
• Review proposed solution plans for Broadcom Software infrastructure products and related actionable results.
• Evaluate solution design, upgrade, conversion from other infrastructure products and implementation approaches.
• Conduct hardware/software comparative evaluations as they relate to infrastructure solutions.
• Technical solution trouble shooter and post implementation support.
• Possess understanding of JES, CICS, MQ series, DB2, IMS, and VSAM.
• Act as consultant in studying and recommending actions on a wide variety of technical areas regarding infrastructure management.
• Communicate current innovations and trends in infrastructure management solutions.
• Ability to implement or upgrade a broad range of Broadcom Software infrastructure products such as SYSVIEW, OPS/MVS, NetMaster, Mainframe Application Tuner, Common Services.
• Ability to script or code quick implementation to solve conversion from other products.
