The role blends secure software engineering, mainframe development, and distributed systems across COBOL, C, Java, z/OS, Linux and Windows environments.

The engineer will provide technical leadership, engage with customers, present at conferences, and help shape product security

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• Expertise developing enterprise applications on z/OS and mainframe platforms.
• Strong programming skills in COBOL, C, and Java.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications while maintaining security and reliability.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, cryptography, and secure application architecture.
• Experience implementing secure communications and TLS-based solutions.
• Understanding of hybrid environments spanning mainframe and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Security engineering focusing on TLS and authentication technologies.
• Mentor and lead technical discussions with customers and team members.
