Qualifications
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3 years applied experience.
- Hands-on system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficient in COBOL, CICS, VSAM, DB2 and MQ.
- Experience with modern programming languages and database querying; SDLC knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Execute software solutions, design and development with troubleshooting.
- Create secure, high-quality production code and artifacts.
- Produce architecture/design artifacts for complex apps.
- Gather/analyze data to develop visualizations and reporting.
- Identify hidden data patterns and drive coding hygiene improvements.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice.
- Aid in fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect within the team.
