Job summary

Morgan Stanley’s Mainframe Security team seeks a senior RACF engineer to design, implement, and support security solutions across complex mainframe environments. Deep hands-on IBM RACF, IBM zSecure, and related IBM Z security expertise are required to collaborate with security, development, and operations teams.

The role may require occasional off-hours for project implementations and production changes. Base pay ranges from $120,000 to $170,000 per year, with potential bonuses and incentives

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience as a RACF engineer or security engineer.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and support mainframe security initiatives related to authentication, authorization, encryption, privileged access, sensitive data protection, automation, reporting, utilities, and batch processes.
• Partner with security architecture and engineering teams to develop technical solutions and support implementation.
• Support deployment of security solutions, including documentation and training for security operations teams.
• Assess feasibility and recommend approaches meeting security, audit, and resiliency requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement effective security solutions.
