Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Senior Mainframe Security Analyst IV in Pittsburgh, PA to lead vulnerability management on z/OS systems. You will leverage RACF, ACF2, TSS, and zSecure Audit to guide hardening and remediation efforts, while coordinating with engineering and information security teams.

Strong communication and documentation skills are essential as you interface with client staff and produce project entries for our vulnerability tool and other utilities.

Qualifications

• Senior Mainframe Security expertise with hands-on leadership in vulnerability projects.
• Ability to guide asset modeling, project documentation, and client communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day tactical execution of security projects.
• Perform detailed analytics of data points to support vulnerability remediation.
• Interface with Client staff on training and day-to-day questions of security tools.
• Contribute as SME on z/OS security, including hardening and controls.
