Job summary

Syncreon Consulting seeks a Mainframe Security Analyst IV to lead security initiatives on z/OS platforms. You will guide asset modeling, document findings, and mentor teams on vulnerability remediation using ACF2, TSS, and RACF. You will interact with client staff and support training on our home-grown vulnerability tool.

Ideal candidates bring 7–10 years of z/Secure Audit experience, strong communication, and a proven track record in hardening and security controls for mainframe environments.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of zSecure Audit experience.
• Proficient in ACF2, Top Secret (TSS) and RACF.
• Knowledge of z/OS hardening and vulnerability remediation.

Responsibilities

• Act as Mainframe Security expert guiding projects and asset modeling.
• Interface with client staff on training and vulnerability tooling questions.
• Serve as SME on ACF2, TSS, and RACF within vulnerability projects.
• Set security standards for z/OS hardening and controls.
• Coordinate between mainframe engineering and information security teams.
• Provide z/OS security consulting and penetration testing background.
• Demonstrate strong communication and documentation skills.
