Job summary

MainframeMaster is seeking a talented Mainframe Quality Engineer to join our Plano, Texas team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality of our product, Gen, focusing on planning and executing tests, along with delivering reliable software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of quality assurance experience in mainframe software, a BA/BS in Computer Science, and proficiency in test automation using Python. We offer a range of competitive benefits including medical plans, 401(K), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance for mainframe software.
• Experience creating test automation, preferably using Python.
• Experience with zOS systems components such as TSO/ISPF, CICS, IMS.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning by defining scope, risks, and objectives of testing.
• Generate, build, and install Gen-generated models for testing.
• Execute various test levels (System, Integration, Acceptance).
