Qualifications

• 7+ years of mainframe experience with strong skills in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and IMS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and reporting.
• Strong expertise in debugging issues related to mainframe applications.

Responsibilities

• Set up test environments and perform manual activities to test new code.
• Monitor mainframe jobs execution during E2E tests and resolve issues.
• Maintain automated job schedules and execute bi-weekly shadow jobs.

Skills

Strong mainframe skillset: COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS

Strong analytical/problem solving skills

Proficient debugging related to mainframe program ABEND resolution

Education

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field
