SmartRecruiters, Inc. in Jersey City, NJ seeks a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer / SMP/E to join our infrastructure team. The role centers on SMP/E operations, mainframe software installation, and z/OS system administration to ensure reliable services.

You will lead projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and implement upgrades while maintaining security and performance. Strong knowledge of JCL/ISPF/TSO, VTAM/TCP/IP, IBM Connect, CA and AMI tools is required.

Qualifications

Candidate must demonstrate expertise in SMP/E installation, maintenance, upgrades and support.
Proficient in mainframe software installation and administration.
Strong knowledge of JCL and ISPF/TSO interfaces.
Experience with VTAM and TCP/IP networking on z/OS.
Familiarity with IBM Connect for messaging and coordination.
Experience with CA Session Manager and CA Spool for job scheduling.
Understanding of mainframe systems infrastructure, architecture and design.
Experience with BMC AMI tools: AMI OPS Automation, AMI OPS Monitors and AMI Output Management.
Demonstrated technical leadership, project/program management and stakeholder communication.
