Qualifications

• 7+ years of real-world HLASM experience.
• Deep expertise in z/OS internals, CICS internals, systems programming and runtime behavior.
• Strong hands-on experience with CICS.
• Daily proficiency with JCL, SDSF, and USS.
• Proven ability to analyze dumps, traces, and performance bottlenecks.
• Working knowledge of COBOL, PL/I, or C for testing and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Build low-level, high-performance instrumentation inside CICS and z/OS.
• Push the limits of what’s possible with HLASM.
• Design and ship features used by the largest enterprises on the planet.
• Diagnose complex behavior using dumps, traces, and deep system insight.
• Deliver code that runs in mission-critical environments where overhead is unacceptable.
• Work directly with a small, elite team of highly experienced engineers.
• Raise the bar - technically and operationally.
